Thisara Perera has been named as the Captain of Sri Lanka ODI & T20 team effective from the ODI series against India. People will ask why Thisara Perera named ahead of everyone to the place of captaincy. If you look at the statistics of Thisara as a bowler he has taken 133 wickets at average of 32.62 in ODIs and he has taken 45 wickets in T20I format at average of 27.2.
